High winds and intermittent rain prevented us from heading to Oban today so we hope that the weather will improve tomorrow. We are now entering the Western Isles and telephone reception is notoriously patchy, so please do not expect daily updates to the blog.

- I first started to use a camera as a teenager. However, family and work commitments meant that I did not take my photography seriously until I first joined a camera club in 2009. Since then I have had many successes, including achieving my Licentiateship of The Royal Photographic Society (LRPS) in March 2011 followed by my Associateship (ARPS) in September 2012. I also achieved a Credit award for photographic merit of the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain (CPAGB) in April 2012.
